Precision Machined Plastics:
We machine precision plastic components of all materials. Common materials consist of Polyurethane, Polypropylene, High Impact Polystyrene, PVC Type I - dark grey, Clear PVC Type I, PVC Type II light gray, Expanded Rigid PVC, CPVC, ABS, ABS/PVC, Acrylic/PVC, Acetate, Butyrate, PET (Polyester), PETG, Polycarbonite (LexanŽ), Bullet Resistant Clear Polycarbonate, DelrinŽ, Acetal Copolymer, Nylon 6/6, MDS filled Nylon, Cast Nylon 6, Nylon 6/12, Oil-impregnated Cast Nylon, LDPE (Low Density Polyethylene), HDPE (High Density Polyethylene), UHMW (Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene), Oil-Filled UHMW Polyethylene, Static Dissipative UHMW Polyethylene, Rubber-Backed UHMW Polyethylene, UV Resistant VHMW Polyethylene (Very High Molecular Weight), TeflonŽ, Fluoropolymers (PTFE, ETFE, FEP, PFA, PVDF, CTFE,), Polyphenylene Oxide (Modified NorylŽ), Polysulfone, PEEK (Polyetheretherketone), Carbon Filled PEEK, Ultem, Polyamide-imide (Torlon), Polyimide (VespelŽ), PBI (Celazole) (Polybenzimidozole),Garolite, Cast Acrylic, Extruded Acrylic, etc.
The machining is done on precision CNC machining centers. Normally the components are completed using a CAD/CAM system for design and data interface. Components are monitored during the production run and then verified using precision Quality Control methods and measuring devices. |
